KWIC Official Opening

The Wunan Foundation is proud to unveil the new Kimberley Withdrawal and Intervention Centre (KWIC) to the East Kimberley community on the morning of October 29th, 2024. Please note, the official opening is a private event and accessible by invitation only.
KWIC is set to become the first Aboriginal community-controlled low medical withdrawal service in Western Australia, marking a groundbreaking development for healthcare services in the region. The initiative aims to provide the local Kimberley community with a safe, culturally appropriate environment for individuals seeking to withdraw from alcohol and other drugs, allowing them to stabilise before receiving further treatment.
