Kimberley Careers Expo highlights career opportunities for youth and job seekers

High school students and job seekers got a taste of a variety of career options in Kununurra recently.

A career expo held at North Regional TAFE gave local students and job seekers different career path options, where they got explore opportunities they may not have considered before.

Wunan Foundation was happy with the turnout, and were happy to provide an opportunity for local service providers, businesses and youth to come together.

Wunan would like to extend a huge thank you to all of the local service providers and organisations who put in a tremendous effort to join us at the Kimbelrey Careers Expo.

A big shoutout to the Jobs & Skills Centre, PCYC, Garnduwa, Apprenticeship Support Australia, Aviair and Heli Spirit, Cornerside Cafe and Sandalwood Shop Cafe, EK Cleaning, East Kimberley Jobs Pathways, Kununurra Police, MG Corp, Balanggarra, Norforce, Warringarri, Wunan Health, Wunan Financial Services, Wunan Learner Driver Training and our Wunan Governance team.

We’d also love to thank East Kimberley College, Shooting Stars, Follow the Dream, WYAC and 100+ Jobs for bringing our young people to the event.

A MASSIVE SHOUTOUT TO IGA – Tuckerbox Kununurra for donating 50% of the sausages for the event!!
