Wunan Foundation is very pleased to announce we recently secured funding to deliver a holistic new program aimed at creating jobs, building work readiness and providing intensive support to recipients of the Cashless Debit Card in the East Kimberley region.
Wunan’s Journey to Empowerment program will support participants on their journey to self-reliance, empowerment and employment.
The program will include on-country activities and cultural practices with cultural leaders, engagement with mental and physical health services, and involvement in job-ready training opportunities.
The funding is part of the $30 million Jobs Fund and job ready initiative to strengthen local support services in Cashless Debit Card communities.
