Alex was born in Malaysia, and is of Chinese descent. He moved to Australia in 2000 and now describes himself as a ‘proud Australian’.

He recently joined the team at Kimberley Business Support, one of Wunan’s thriving social enterprises, where he provides professional accounting support to not-for-profit clients across the East Kimberley.

Alex comes to Wunan with a wealth of experience, having spent the last fifteen years working for ASX-listed companies in Perth and four years working in Saudi Arabia.

“Saudi Arabia is probably one of the most difficult places on earth to live, but the money was very good and I got to travel all over the Middle East and Europe,” says Alex.

“Now that I’m working at Wunan, I get to travel to Wyndham and Halls Creek! I really enjoy helping our clients to understand the stories that numbers can tell.”

Alex says he enjoys working for Wunan and is glad to have an opportunity to contribute to Wunan’s mission of improving the lives of Aboriginal people in the region.
