Wunan’s Dural Excellence Program is working to educate Halls Creek kids

Wunan had a great meeting with the parents of Dural excellence program in Halls Creek. Discussions were held around how parents of the students could connect with teachers in Dural Sydney through skype as well as how they could better support their kids while they were away in school.
The group was facilitated and supported by Wunan’s PaCE Coordinator Grace Lewis, Mnanger of the Halls Creek Children and Family Centre Robert Reichel and Wunan’s Living Change Community Liaison Officer Vincent Skeen. The parents will now meet on monthly so as to support eachother and work together to support their children’s education.
