Wunan is looking for an experienced person to be the Advocate for the Disability Service in Kununurra and the surrounding region.

This position will operate in a service delivery model.


This position will require the person to have the following skills:

  • Planning, Data Collection and advocacy
  • Be capable of Community Engagement
  • Develop networks and Partnerships.
  • Case Management
  • Write and develop programs
  • Organise Referrals
  • Work with and motivate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People


The successful applicants must have:

  • A current Working with Children Check
  • National Police Clearance
  • Valid Driver licence
  • Relevant previous experience working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people
  • An understanding of disability service needs and principles.
