Josephine Hart - Hostel ManagerExtract from email to Wunan House confirming reservation:- “Your flexibility, support and patience regarding this young person is much appreciated. Your compassion and willingness to give this client a further opportunity at Wunan is a credit to you. I am heartened by your report of the positive experience you are having so far with the other young person we have placed at Wunan and hope that this placement is a success! Some of the young people involved with our service are definitely worthy of the opportunity to access the accommodation Wunan House offers to progress themselves in life”. October 2013     Read More.

Wunan is an Aboriginal development organisation in the East Kimberley, with a clear purpose of driving long-term socio-economic change for Aboriginal people; by providing real opportunities, investing in people’s abilities, and encouraging self-responsibility. Wunan is seeking applications from Aboriginal people to join its Board of Directors. Those applying should be committed to bringing positive change to the Indigenous community of the East Kimberley. Board members are appointed primarily on the basis of experience, skill and exhibited leadership, rather than on a representative basis. The standard period of office for Board members is 3 years To apply visit our Website http://wunan.org.au/jobs  or contact Nick Thomas, Chief Executive Officer on 08 9166 5735 for more information. Applications close Monday 11 November 2013 with appointments to be finalised at the Wunan Annual General Meeting on Friday 6 December 2013.
